Era Vati works across disciplines including video, mixed media installation and drawing. Her works focus on personal identity and the role of the individual within society. The themes are explored through personal relationships and self-reflection.

She exhibited at several places across Europe, Asia and South America such as the 5th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art, File SP Festival in Centro Cultural, Sao Paolo Brazil, 27th Festival Les Instants Vidéo”, Marseille, France, Dr Johnson's House Museum London, Jette Rudolph Gallery Berlin, International Video Festival in Macau and Associazione Culturale in Ferrara, Italy, Deák Erika Gallery Budapest, Rotterdamse Schouwburg, Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Era is a recipient of awards including Budapest Art Expo Friss Young Artist Award , Hungarian Cultural Fund (NKA) Grant and shortlisted for the 7th Arte Laguna Prize in Venice, Italy.

She is awarded with scholarships at University of Arts and Design (HfG), Karlsruhe, Germany at the Faculty of Media Arts and Film under the guidance of Prof. Uwe Laysiepen (Ulay) and Academy of Fine Arts Munich, Germany, Faculty of Painting.

Most recently she has been awarded with the prestigious scholarship to the Hungarian Academy in Rome.

Era graduated in Painting from the Hungarian University of Arts and has a MA in Art and Media Paractice from the University of Wesminster in London.
